Supreme House, Finchley – Office and Common Parts Refurbishment

Crestel Projects is proud to reflect on the successful completion of an office and common parts refurbishment at Supreme House, delivering a modern, high-quality workspace designed to meet contemporary occupier expectations.

Appointed by Antipodean (UK) Limited, Crestel Projects undertook a comprehensive refurbishment of the building’s top-floor office accommodation alongside significant upgrades to the reception, stair core, and sanitary facilities. The project was delivered under a JCT Minor Works Building Contract with Contractor’s Design, working closely with Palmer Glew Limited as Architect and Contract Administrator.

1. Project Overview

This project involved a full re-imagining of the third-floor open-plan office space, incorporating new mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, ceilings, partitions, raised access flooring, and floor finishes to create a flexible and modern working environment.

In parallel, the building’s communal areas were upgraded, including refurbished WC facilities, enhanced reception and staircore spaces, refreshed internal and external signage, and a full internal redecoration. The works were carefully coordinated to ensure a consistent design language across both private and shared spaces.

As part of the Contractor’s Designed Portion, Crestel Projects was responsible for the design and delivery of the MEP services, together with external signage, column cladding and internal wayfinding.

2. Scope of Works

The scope of works delivered by Crestel Projects included:

3. Design and Finishes

The completed scheme adopts a clean, contemporary aesthetic, balancing neutral tones with darker architectural accents to deliver a professional and timeless finish. Office areas feature crisp ceilings, contrasting woodwork, and durable carpet tile flooring suitable for high-traffic commercial use.

Tea point and WC areas introduce richer materials and colour, including timber-effect flooring, feature wall tiling and deep blue finishes, elevating the user experience while maintaining durability and ease of maintenance. Reception and staircore areas were carefully detailed to provide a strong first impression and continuity throughout the building.

4. Programme and Delivery

The project was delivered over an eight-week programme, with a contract value of circa £250,000. Through proactive management, close collaboration with the consultant team, and effective coordination of specialist subcontractors, the works were completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

5. Outcome

The refurbishment has transformed Supreme House into a high-quality commercial environment that enhances both tenant experience and long-term asset value. The upgraded offices and common areas now offer a welcoming, flexible and future-ready workspace aligned with modern market expectations.
